Large Format Printer

The print industry has bounced back massively. The sales pipelines are looking good, enquiries are coming in and the print machines are almost back to capacity.

My client in Stockport are looking for someone to join their team of Printers to bring to reality their clients brief. You'll be printing some (future award-winning, if past projects are anything to go off) visual marketing campaigns. Think, banners, window displays, building wraps, interior graphics, floor graphics, exhibition displays, the works. There are some big old machines in there with a couple of 3.2m wide machines and the smallest ones of 1.6m. Flatbeds, Roll to Roll, finishing equipment, the lot. 

The capacity and the scale of this manufacturing environment can be a little daunting. All the machines are on, the noise, the smell of the ink and the physical aspects of lifting 3m wide substrates and getting them onto the printing machine can take a little getting used to. That's fine with us by the way, if it is with you. Although if you're coming into this with some experience on the print floor, then that could be hugely beneficial. 

The business is growing. They want ambitious people. They want people that aren't shy at coming forward. People that will happily suggest a different way of working (for them and for you) to grasp an opportunity and run with it. There's a place for you if you just want to rock up, do your job and go home (that's cool, as long as you're good at it) but the culture is thriving. They want to develop and want to get better and they can only do that if the workforce wants to too. 

We've got a couple of opportunities available with day and perm night shifts available. 

Days
Mon - Friday 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm (weekly rotation)

Nights
4 on 4 off 10pm - 6am
There's a 25% night shift allowance on top of the salary for perm nights.
